Demonte / Must do

Demonte offers a wide range of possibilities for outdoor activities lovers.
From a hiking point of view, the offer ranges from simple walk on the hills behind the village – not to be missed the climb to the small churches of Madonna del Pino, Madonna del Ronvello and from here to the Pisciai waterfall - to high-altitude trips, particularly  those in the side Arma valley and on the opposite side starting from the Bergemolo hamlet. From Demonte you can reach one of the most popular destinations for two-wheelers fans: the famous Fauniera hill. An important landmark for river sports lovers, the Ke Rafting centre offers courses and Stura river navigation experiences of various disciplines: rafting, canoeing, kayaking, hydrospeed. Demonte is the home of two important riding centres, “Vanet Cavallo” and la Truna agritourism, both starting points for suggestive horseback riding.
The “Centro Fondo of Festiona”, a hamlet of Demonte, is the most important and well-known Nordic ski area of Cuneo, with 42 km of slopes of different trip difficulties, immersed in an extraordinary uncontaminated alpine environment.
