LAUDATO SI' | Theatrical reading by and with MONI OVADIA

Moni Ovadia’s theatrical reading on Bergoglio’s encyclical at the Ecomuseum in Pontebernardo

Laudato si' is the second encyclical written by Pope Bergoglio in his pontificate and dates back to 2015. Moni Ovadia, writer, author, man of agnostic culture but always close to the spirituality and questions of the people of faith has decided to make a Reading in which we could highlight the revolutionary power of this writing or the denunciation of the current ecological crisis and the absolute need for a radical change in the conduct of man. Humanity can no longer afford a reckless exploitation of nature aimed at its economic interests but needs more than ever a renewal in the name of a global ecological conversion "an integral ecology, lived with joy and authenticity".

A special event at the Ecomuseo della Pastorizia, the result of a three-year relationship that is the result of a collaboration between the Piedmont Region - recognising and promoting eco-museums on its territory as cultural instruments of general interest and social utility oriented towards sustainable local development, aimed at recovering, conserving, enhancing and transmitting the identity heritage, cultural, social, environmental, material and intangible of a homogeneous territory, through the participation of local communities in all their components - the Ecomuseums Network of Piedmont, the Piedmont Live Foundation and Museum Subscriptions.
